Saying Good Bye to Georgia!

We have two weeks left and they let us go out to an island yesterday for some fresh air and Ocean beaches. Georgia is pretty, all in all, but seeing 2 gaters on the way out there while crossing rivers is very concerning concidering we were headed to go swim in the Ocean! Anyways, I did it it, didnt go out too far.. apparently its an area for Sharks to breed!

I saw a museum with a rocking chair out front and had to try the Georgia life style for awhile. It was awesome... I totally want a pourch with a rocking chair! Anyways, we had a great time and I got some tan to match my hands and neck!

We found a kitten in the field while training! She was under the hood of one of our trucks. I tried letting her go after we rescued her, thinking that her home was somewhere close. I than felt really guilty and went to go find her. I chased her around and she climbed a tree! She was so exhausted by this point that she just layed accross the limb and fell asleep. I was very worried and tried to find a latter! The guys didnt have a latter but they had a wrecker with a boom! They backed up the wrecker, extended the boom and got her down for me. She than spent the next 6 days with us in the tent.... sleeping on my head! We brought her back to our base and found her a home with one of the girls' families. She will be with us until the 30th. She was a blessing, I believe all of us needed to have some affection in our lives :)

Really bored at the barracks today, but I'm having a bbq tonight with steak and shimp!
I got to wear civilian clothes and go to dinner, walmart and see terminator last night! So fun, although I left my buddies at the restaurant so I could see the movie, and it ended up being really bad!

But I got margaretas too! So awesome!
